The avoidance of both improper uses of any good things and improper manipulations of any good emotions is one of the most necessary principles that can be applied to various areas comprehensively in human societies. It isn't difficult to cite some examples of improper uses of good things such as mass media, government, idealism, anesthesia, Internet, telecommunication, nuclear energy, religion, teamwork, etc., and of improper manipulations of good emotions such as affection, aspiration, ambition, loyalty, etc. Unfortunately, these good things and emotions can be foul means to lead people astray. The more useful things are, the stronger influences their improper uses have.
The construction of a new system, the establishment of a new doctrine, or the development of a new technology may help prevent people from making improper use or manipulation of some of these good things and emotions and from being victims to some extent, but it may be really difficult to prevent people from others.

In my case, intruders upon my passage through life tend to behave like racketeers. Annoyingly, the people who have been persistent obstacles to my success tend to insist behind my back that they taught me.
In general, a good teacher doesn't do so.

According to some news sources, the situation in East Asia nowadays is becoming rather similar to the situation about three years ago. Be careful for a while.

It seems that the degree of success in avoiding both improper uses of any good things and improper manipulations of any good emotions is one of the most reasonable benchmarks for measuring the level of cultural development of a society.
In order for their protectionism, a tiny number of people in a society with a higher level of cultural development often attempt to lead other people in a society with a lower level astray by relying upon various methods related to improper uses and manipulations above. It's justifiable to say that corruption by taking advantage of people's weakness in the emotions that they can't easily restrain and are generally considered as good are the usual measures of Mephistopheles and Mara. It may sound paradoxical that more people with these kinds of evil spirits can be found in a society with a high level of cultural development than that with a low level.

It's a warm day. Today's maximum temperature was 81 degrees F (27.2 degrees C).

Two Japanese politicians made some rash statements about well-known touchy matters for the last two days. It seems that politicians in a neighboring country let them speak so with the aid of their friends in the political worlds of Western countries.
Recent rapid recovery of the estimated recurrent profits of the Japanese Auto Industry for the first half of this year got extensive media coverage.
More and more, the situations in East Asia nowadays are becoming rather similar to the situations three years ago. Be careful about any acts redirecting the hostilities into Japan, after carrying forward a plan that is very profitable for it but harmful for others.

BTW, the persistent obstacles in my way by racketeers still continue. Indeed, their obstacles have persisted for quite a long period of time. I hope their obstacles will stop soon.

Today's maximum temperature was 83 degrees F (28.2 degrees C).

Today, my wife and I watched two TV dramas drawn against the historical background of the closing days of the Tokugawa Shogunate. The news about Syria's civil war was broadcast when we were having dinner. The difference between the two civil wars rather interested me.
Unlike the 15th Tokugawa Shogun Yoshinobu of Japan (1866 ~ 1868), the incumbent president of Syria who runs a Porsche and whose wife is of British origin still stands firm against antigovernment rebels supported by foreign powers.

This morning, my electronic dictionary stopped functioning suddenly. Because its keyboard went wrong probably, any F-letter can't be inputted by typing the F-keypad. I may have often looked up words containing the F-letters, so that a key-switch or other part related to the F-keypad of the keyboard may have been worn out. Needless to say, however, the dirty F-word can't be found in my diary.
Sent an inquiry email about its repair to the customer service of its manufacturer.
